Welcome to the web site of Creekwood Cottage Preschool, an integral and foundational part of the Cunae International School community in The Woodlands. We hope that what you find here inspires you and that you recognize our campus as a home away from home where your child can thrive and your input is warmly received as essential to our understanding of how best to help your child grow and learn.

Situated on 6 picturesque acres in Creekside Park Village in The Woodlands, Creekwood Cottage Preschool offers a stimulating and safe environment, providing a smooth transition for your child from home to a group setting. By partnering closely with families, we aim to expand the world of the child to include the school family. Ongoing communication with family forms the basis of a team approach to meeting the social, emotional and educational needs of your child. Based on the Reggio Emilia educational approach, recognized as the ‘world’s best practice’ in early childhood education, children are recognized as unique individuals who are both competent and full of creative potential.

The curriculum is hands-on, interactive, emergent, play-centered, and investigative; promoting the inquiring mind, self-awareness, and comprehension of place in community and the wider world.  Through inquiry, children are encouraged to explore and engage, to observe and wonder, to challenge and question their world; initiating the development of critical and conceptual thinking skills.  Through art, language, dramatic play and music, children are encouraged to express their “One hundred languages and a hundred, hundred more” (Loris Malaguzzi, 1920-1994).
We warmly invite you to come and visit us to see if we may be the right fit for your child.
