About Us
In August 2008 after much anticipation, Creekwood Cottage Preschool, the early learning years of Cunae International School, opened its doors to approximately 20 preschool aged children.

Situated on 6 picturesque acres on the edge of The Woodlands, Creekwood Cottage Preschool offers a stimulating and safe environment, providing for an easy transition for your child from home to a group setting.  A high quality educational program has been rigorously pursued through the formation of a curriculum that is not only developmentally appropriate but is rich in learning opportunities, and that is personally meaningful to the child.

Based on the Reggio Emilia educational approach, recognized as the ‘world’s best practice’ in early childhood education, children at Creekwood are celebrated as unique indiviuduals who have as much to offer (competent) as they do to learn (full of potential). Coupled with the world renowned International Baccaleaureate Program, Creekwood strives for educational excellence where children can thrive. (Click here to learn more about Reggio Emilia)

The program is hands-on, interactive, interest-based, play-centered, and investigative; promoting the inquiring mind, self awareness, and comprehension of the wider world that they live in.  Through inquiry, children are encouraged to explore and engage, to observe and wonder, to challenge and question their world; initiating the development of critical and conceptual thinking skills.  Through art, language, dramatic play and music, they will develop creativity and self–expression, with a focus on the process of doing and creating.
