Learning Environment
Nurturing Development
We provide a safe and secure environment where children are encouraged to share and cooperate, and to enjoy the friendship of their peers, facilitates healthy social development.  Each child's positive self-image is nurtured through many opportunities to be successful so that they may grow in self-confidence.
Spirit of Discovery
A child’s self-understanding, curiosity, creativity, reflection, and an interest in learning is encouraged through inquiry, exploration and expression. We value and encourage individual differences, allowing time for imaginative problem-solving projects, and opportunities for self expression through music and dramatic play.
Play with a Purpose
Play is a vital part of your child's experience. Materials, space, time and freedom are provided which encourage children to manipulate, investigate, practise and interact. Planned and spontaneous activities extend and challenge a child's thinking and problem solving skills, and enhance sensory and language development, and communication skills.  Active play also allows for the development of a wide range of gross and fine motor skills, promoting self-confidence.
Socratic Teaching
Teaching through inquiry where discussion and questioning are central,  stimulates children’s thinking, reasoning and participation, allowing children to internalize what they have learned.
Emergent Curriculum
Building upon the interests of the child, topics and projects for study are often captured from the talk of the children, and the cultural and eco environments that surrounds them.
